The set of 2 stainless steel pre-cutlery (spoon and fork) from BÉABA® is specially designed to help young children learn to eat independently. With short, rounded handles, these pre-cutlery items are perfectly suited for small hands, providing a comfortable and secure grip.
Developed in collaboration with a pediatric nutrition specialist and speech therapist, these utensils optimize grasping, allowing the child to use them in three different ways: palm grip, pincher grip, or fist grip.
The notches on the handle further simplify handling, regardless of the method used. The symmetrical shape of the pre-cutlery allows for ambidextrous use, making them suitable for both left-handed and right-handed children. The dimensions of the spoon and fork tips are specially adapted to the mouths of young children, ensuring safe and comfortable feeding. The spoon is shallow to avoid overloading, while the fork is effective and safe, featuring slightly rounded tines for added security.
