Peel the banana and cut into fine round slices. Break the vanilla bean into two lengthwise. Put the banana and vanilla in the steamer basket. Pour water into the tank (level 2) and start the cooking process. Put the banana in the blender bowl and blend adding some of the cooking liquid until you obtain the desired consistency. Add the vanilla bean and blend again.
