Clean the squash well with a clean scouring sponge in warm water. Cut the squash, keeping the skin, and carefully remove all the seeds it contains using a tablespoon. Peel and wash the sweet potato, then cut into small 1cm cubes. Pass the pad of your index finger over the whiting filet to check that there are no more bones and cut the fish into small pieces. Put the fish and vegetables in the steamer basket. Pour water into the tank (level 3) and start the cooking process. When the food is cooked, remove the steamer basket. Put the cooking liquid to one side in a small container. Transfer all the cooked food into the blender bowl with the olive oil. Blend adding some of the cooking liquid until you obtain the desired consistency. Add the cinnamon and blend again.

Some vegetables do not need to be peeled. Do not go to the trouble of peeling them ... This is the case of squash whose skin becomes soft when cooked. On the other hand, wash it well with a clean scouring sponge. This also applies to early vegetables at the beginning of spring (carrots, young courgettes, etc.).

Squash, despite its chestnut taste, is indeed a vegetable – not a starchy food at all. It does not contain as much starch (sugars) as potatoes, rice, pasta or lentil beans. This is why we add sweet potato to this recipe. This will give your baby the energy he needs for his sugar-dependant organs: brain, red blood cells and muscles. Cinnamon is a mild spice, which gives flavour with no hot spicyness or astringency. Consequently, there is no reason to deprive your child of a gustatory discovery …
